I used to love these as a child. We used to call them fairies. I’m not sure why now🤔 Probably because of the way they floated through the air but I think my sister referred to them as furries because they are fluffy. Fairies or furries - I must have driven my mum mad blowing them all over the garden! They’re wafting round the garden now - flying in off the fields like little time bombs! Had to pop out to a neighbouring village today to drop off a parcel. Whilst I was there I came across a lovely (new to me at least) shop @gingerhomeandgifts . V lovely, beautifully presented and online too! Oh ... and there’s also a charming old police box along the road. Can we still be inbox friends? I have to ask because of this deeply irritating GDPR thing that's driving me to distraction (along with my questionable IT skills 🙄. I have a mailing list to let people know about offers, new products, you know the kind of thing but with GDPR we have to email the list and ask whether people want to stay in touch. Quite often these emails are ending up in people's Junk Folder (aargh). Maybe you didn't know I had a mailing list? - be my guest - join up - the link is in my bio. Anyway after 25 May I will have to mass delete anyone who hasn't clicked to say they want to stay in the Plain Useful gang. Frustrating? Yes, yes, very. It'll be horrid to have to say goodbye to so many people who probably don't even realise😢And let's face it, all our inboxes are bombed out with these GDPR compliance emails. All very dull but so many small businesses depend on their mailing lists. So please, spare a minute to support us all. Plea and rant over!
